I saw this insect (that I think is a moth) on my front porch. It looked exactly like a leaf & I wouldn't have even noticed it if it wasn't on a white surface. I thought it was pretty cool-looking, so I got my macro lens and took some closeups.

It's amazing how these creatures evolve to mimic leaves, foliage, and other plant-like textures. From the front, it looked like a stealth fighter jet with a little alien head & legs:
