My son came to this page in a workbook, that prompts you to create & name a new chess piece...
He decided on - "LASer". He's hilarious & is always cracking me up (when he's not driving me nuts with his wild energy). I posted his drawing in r/anarchychess & got some funny responses. "Maybe it could take pieces from afar without moving" - u/Perfect_Cap_3934
Apparently, this drawing is also the Chinese pictogram for "up". 上 (Shàng)
